Breaking out of an abusive cycle is one of the most difficult things to do. It’s most powerful adversary is independence – financial, emotional and psychological self-empowerment. Which is why we exist – to inspire women to take the steps they need to seek help for themselves and live the life they truly are capable of.
Founded in 2016, by a team of dynamic women, Cornerstone Woman has been offering women living in cycles of abuse an opportunity to connect with women who understand them and can offer the a way out. The organisation has undergone many changes over the past two years and has both refined and improved its business model, partnerships and methodologies so as to better serve the ever increasing demands placed on the organisation.
We are passionate about helping others overcome the effects of abuse.
We exist to establish a route to recovery for families affected by long-term abuse and suffering. By providing well designed steps and programs that both support and encourage survivors to uplift themselves, we can offer families hope and a future where previously, it seemed hopeless.
We have a dynamic team of individuals volunteering their time and energies to Cornerstone Woman. Both men and women, who have either been in abusive situations or witnessed them firsthand, our circle keeps getting bigger and stronger.
